Students boycott exams. Super Semester lago if he/she get F or D grade

KOHAT, June 11: The students of Kohat University of Science and Technology on Tuesday boycotted papers to protest against the introduction of super semester system, forcing the administration to postpone the examinations.

The university administration postponed the zoology, economics and sociology papers after holding talks with the protesting students. The papers will now be held at a later date.

Under the new rule the students getting F or D grades in subjects will have to reappear in the super semester paying Rs7,000 for each subject. That means, students appearing in super semester will complete their four-year bachelors degree in five years.

The students demanded of the vice chancellor to withdraw

the decision otherwise they would go on an indefinite strike. —Correspondent
