Inter-Collegiate Tournaments: Asweff distributes prizes among

Winners

Islamabad—Federal Minister for Education Sardar Aseff Ahmad Ali distributed prizes among the winners of Inter-Collegiate (Boys and Girls) Tournaments for the session 2010-2011 at a ceremony held here on Saturday.

Inter-collegiate tournaments were held under the auspices of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, at Islamabad Model College for Boys, F-7/3 from December 20-27 while Inter-Directorate (Schools) Boys tournaments were held during the second week of December.

In Badminton Boys Tournaments, Punjab College, F-8/4 secured first prize, Garrison Cadet College Kohat second and F.G Commerce College for Boys, H-8/4 third prize.

In Table Tennis Boys Tournament, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) Model College Chashma clinched first prize while Punjab College, F-8/4 and Bahria College E-8 got second and third prizes respectively.

In Badminton Girls Tournaments, F.G Margala College for Women, F-7/4, F.G College for Women, G-10/4 and KRL Model College Kahuta bagged first, second and third prizes respectively.

In Basket Ball Girls Tournament, Bahria College G-8 got first prize while F.G Margala College for Women F-7/4 and F.G College for Women G-10/4 secured second and third prizes respectively.

In Cricket, F.G Sir Syed Secondary School Rawalpindi got first prize, F.G Boys Technical High School Tariqabad, Rawalpindi and 502 model College Rawalpindi secured second and third prizes respectively.—APP
