Oriflame to launch 200 new products this year

New Delhi: Oriflame on Wednesday said it plans to launch around 200 new products across various segments, including hair care and fragrances, in India in 2012.

The company, which is present in the country through its wholly-owned subsidiary Oriflame India, has also roped in Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre as its brand ambassador.

"For refreshing the product portfolio this year, 200 products are being launched by the company across segments like fragrances and skin care," Oriflame India Marketing Director Sharmili Rajput told reporters here.

As part of expanding the product portfolio, the company today launched its latest range of makeup products under Oriflame Studio Artist Collection.

Speaking on the development Oriflame India Managing Director Niklas Frisk said, "...we will be looking to significantly increase our two lakh strong family, make further inroads into consumer outreach."

Oriflame markets various products including fragrances and cosmetics through its sales force in 62 countries.
