Wednesday, November 11, 2015 - Islamabad—Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of the country while dry weather to continue elsewhere in the country during next 24 hours.
Rainfall is expected at upper KP Malakand, Hazara, Mardan Kohat, Peshawar divisions, upper FATA, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Kurram Agencies, Zhob, Quetta, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Met office reported that a westerly wave is affecting upper and western parts of the country and likely to persist durin g the next 2-3 days. In last 24 hours rain occurred at isolated places in upper KP, upper Punjab, upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rainfall recorded during last 24 hours was Para-chinar 46 mm, Malamjabba 15mm, Dir 8mm, Garhi Dupatta 8mm, Khuzdar 6mm, Muzaffarabad 6mm, Pattan 6mm, Saidu Sharif 5mm, Kohat 5mm, Quetta (Samungli) 5mm, Balakot 4mm, Quetta (Sheikh Manda) 4mm, Rawalakot 4 mm, Peshawar City 3mm, Kakul 2mm, Bannu 2mm, Kotli 2mm, Peshawar A/P 2mm, Astore 1mm, Barkhan 1mm, Cherat 1mm, D.G.Khan 1mm, Kasur=1mm, Murree 1mm, Skardu 1mm and Okara 1 mm.
